The cedar tree has long been associated with strength and longevity.  We came across a large cross-section of a sacred koya sugi (cedar tree) at the Kongobuji Temple in Koyasan, Japan.  This cross-section had the most amazing 'heart'.  It's this heart that we etched here on our pendant.  

Our Cedar Pendant measures 7/8" (2.2 cm) square and hangs from a 20" (50 cm) aged silver chain.
