Cast from original 18th century found religious medals, each medallion has an image of Mary with seven swords, each representing one of her seven lifetime sorrows. Here the 3 represented are; 1.) Prophecy of Simeon in relation to baby Jesus 2.) The loss of Jesus in the temple 3.) Jesus dies on the cross. All in our vintage finish on sterling silver with a bronze contrast piece. The largest of the medals measures 3/4" L x 5/8" W (1.9 x 1.6 cm). Length is 24" (60 cm).
