Kabbalah is an old wisdom that reveals how life and the universe works. The word actually translates as ‘to receive’ and it’s the study of how to receive fulfillment in our lives. Inspired by ancient aramaic text found in the Zohar (the main body of the teachings of Kabbalah), we built a small collection around a passage referencing protection. The actual selection is from the Vayishlach (hebrew for he sent) which is part of the Book of Genesis. It’s most basic reference is protection. The complete verse in aramaic is: “וַיִּשְׁלַח יַעֲקֹב מַלְאָכִים וגו'. For the collection, we’ve only used the textural elements to create a special visual. Etching 2 of these lines, we’ve cut a vertical tablet with a ‘torn edge’ at the bottom. The pendant (1.75" x .25" / 4.4 x .6 cm) is mounted on our textured circle ring and placed on a long 28” (70 cm) chain. All in aged sterling silver.
