Our Heart Sutra Double Pendant is etched from the Buddhist text, Heart Sutra. Considered as one of the most important Buddhist scriptures, the Heart Sutra is written in sanskrit & relates to wisdom. To bring out the textural elements of the script, we heavily aged the sterling silver. For this piece, we layered the 1/2" (1.3 cm) Heart Sutra pendant with a smaller 3/16" (.5 cm) hand carved & beaded 14k yellow gold pendant centered with a clear diamond. All mounted on an 18" (45 cm) aged sterling silver chain.
