These Persian Coin earrings (1 1/4" / 3.2 cm round) are cast in sterling silver from a coin found in Southern Spain. On the front side is, what we believe to be, the image of King Khusro II, a Persian king from the 5th or 6th century. The back of the piece shows the mage of his attendants. We gently aged the piece to bring out the details.
